Can you guess why this frog is called a Leopard Frog? Leopard frogs can be green or brown, but they’re named for the dark spots outlined in white or yellow on their back, sides, and legs. These spots help them to blend into the vegetation, which hopefully means they’ll stay off the menu for any hungry predators that might come around. If they’re found, their strong, muscular legs help them to hop to a quick getaway!
