Conifer Outdoor Ceremony Site

The Conifer Outdoor Ceremony Site is a secluded one-acre green space nestled within our Conifer Collection. It is a separate location from the OAC Arboretum Centre rental for ceremonies only featuring a peony garden, free parking, and the use of the site from dawn until dusk.

The West Lawn

Surrounded by majestic trees and gardens, the West Lawn adjoins the OAC Arboretum Centre. This outdoor ceremony site includes the Auditorium as a rain backup, use of the site from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., restrooms, a gazebo, boardroom, and free parking.

Visit the image gallery [1] for more photos of our rental facilities and grounds and the Weddings FAQ page [2] for frequently asked questions.

The land where The Arboretum now grows has been home to plants and animals for thousands of years.  It was home to Indigenous peoples before settlers arrived. We recognize the Dish with One Spoon territory, the treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Between the Lakes Treaty 3 lands on which the University of Guelph and The Arboretum now sit. We are honoured to work on and care for this land.
