Additional Information:

As Marketing and Office Co-ordinator, I am responsible for the marketing and many administrative tasks of The Arboretum as well as the co-ordination of workshops and volunteers.

I grew up on a farm between Elora and Guelph, just around the corner from the University of Guelph's Elora Research Station. I attended Georgian College in Barrie and obtained my Hotel and Resort Administration Diploma. After working in the industry for a few years, I returned to school in New Hampshire at Southern New Hampshire University (formerly New Hampshire College) and obtained my Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality Administration.

As part of this program, I completed a nine month internship at a conference centre and resort in Texas. My experience before coming to the Arboretum in 2001 was in the Hotel Industry. I worked in a variety of positions, but most recently as a Sales and Marketing Manager.

My husband and I have a two daughters as well as a black lab. Outside of work I enjoy cycling, taking walks, gardening, ball hockey, trying to stay fit and invlolvement in my daughers' activities and school.

The land where The Arboretum now grows has been home to plants and animals for thousands of years.  It was home to Indigenous peoples before settlers arrived. We recognize the Dish with One Spoon territory, the treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Between the Lakes Treaty 3 lands on which the University of Guelph and The Arboretum now sit. We are honoured to work on and care for this land.
