The Arboretum has two very important upcoming events that we would like to remind or make you aware of:
The Arboretum Auxiliary Plant Sale is this Saturday, September 13, 2008 rain or shine from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the R.J. Hilton Centre on College Avenue. This is one of our largest fund-raisers of the year. A catalogue is available for $3 in advance at The Arboretum Centre between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or at the sale on Saturday. Please come out and support The Arboretum. There are 350+ varieties of perennials & woody plants available for sale. Cash, Cheque, Visa, MasterCard and Interac are all acceptable methods of payment. On Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in The Arboretum Centre we are holding a book launch for Henry Kock’s book “Growing Trees from Seed.” Join us and co-authors John Ambrose and Paul Aird in this celebration.
